All DTH Providers now providing HD DVR ( Digital Video Recording) so that you can record programs and enjoy services, even Videocon D2H Providing 3D HD DVR so if your television is HD supported then you must go for HD set top box.
All DTH providers using DVB-S2 MPEG-4 Technology, only Dish TV and TATA Sky Using MPEG-2. But Dish TV have High Numbers of Channels and TATA Sky have high customer satisfaction and services. So when you are going to purchase DTH so compare wisely.

Activation is very slow, if you will recharge then it can take 1-3 hours.

2 - AIRTEL DIGITAL TV
Airtel Digital TV first DTH player which is provides first MPEG-4, Digital Quality. it’s have super picture and audio quality, which must be most preferable feature while choosing DTH. Now because Airtel is shifted to new satellite that is SES7, so it have more number of transponders, so it can add more numbers of channel to their platform.

But it is proving its brand name; Tata sky added all new famous channels to its boutique.
